But for some reason the dealer thinks this SE offers only the 110-mile range of a pre-LCI SE.

I like the roof rails. Makes the car look dignified.

If the roof rails were channels so the roof was flat, then it would be ok. EVO X comes to mind or the Subaru BRZ.

But the roof rails on a Mini stick up like a SUV which doesn't look good to me.

Probably hasn't hit the system. My red one has only the roof rails and was 31,000, less the steering wheel credit of 100 is how i got to the msrp.

Are you thinking of the rails on the second gen countryman? The rails on the SE only stick up like a half inch.

Some model years of the first gen Clubman had those tall rails too. No thanks.
