I'm impressed by the ambition and the willingness to express it. I know GM was an early hybrid adopter (with the Volt) but in my mind, GM has always built cars/trucks for people who don't care about gas mileage and are wary of people who do care!

Definitely a big move in the right direction, although one probably should note several of the EVs are likely to be China-only, a couple FCEVs...and does GM count the Chevy Bolt EV and the Opel Ampera-e as 1 or 2? Still, good news all around...2 new all-electric offerings in the the next 18 months I think is the key takeaway here, as that is a tangible number/short term deadline.

Do you have more details such as hp, autonomy, battery, etc?

Specific information like that hasn't been released for any of these upcoming models. I would not be surprised, though, if at least one of these coming in the next 18 months is not based on the Chevy Bolt platform and use the same 200 hp motor, 60 kWh battery.

In the Raleigh NC area, I'm impressed with the selection of Bolt EVs (35+ available). All 8 metro dealers are Bolt/Volt certified.
