Race 5
Coming soon. Or at least, I expected it to be coming soon. Instead they've now posted a random race from season three, which you can find just below.

I've been watching this season. It is getting better, as time goes on.

I wish they ran slick tires, for maximum mechanical grip, since they don't have a lot of aero downforce.

I sort of like that the grip level is short of heroic. It, I believe, calls for even more care from the drivers despite the lower speeds. Plus, for Michelin, who supply the custom tires, it's an opportunity to take what they learn here and apply it more quickly to commercial products.

The racing certainly has improved over the seasons. Hoping next season, with the new cars, follows that trajectory.

Given that they are wearing out the tires in a half of a race, and they get new tires when they switch cars - next year the tires will have to deal with a faster / more powerful car, for the whole race. I really like low aero drag racing, but having mechanical grip is key to higher cornering speeds, and lower lap times - and longer races, and better racing.

So, we may well get tire change pit stops, like F1; even with slicks.

I am watch these races when I can. They are getting better, and next year looks to be a big leap forward. Porsche will be joining, and Audi is there already. (And Le Mans has taken a hit, in my opinion.)

I watched it - it is a MUCH better race, now with the new cars. They managed to have a competitive race - even with almost no practice time on that track. They had a freak rainstorm - Saudi Arabia is not known for rain.

I think that Fan Boost is a poor idea - it has never worked, and it is unfair. Attack Mode, on the other hand is a good idea, and it has a strong effect - and it is fair.

They spoil the race, before they show the race. They need to NOT tell us who won, before they post the full race.
They tend to suit their media messaging to those who are able to watch the races in real time. Kind of sucks for those of us without access to the channel they broadcast on, but I guess that's what they feel they need to do.
