Fuel low

After 5,600 km on EV - and maybe 5 liters of gas; finally using car in hybrid mode - getting 4.8L/100 km..... today when gas guage dropped to 2 bars - a 'Fuel Low' message appeared and could not be subdued - and the manual only says - refuel as soon as posslble'...
I get that Honda doesn't want to put a number on it - but surely the amount of gas left would allow 'me' to decide what I wish to do.

Does anyone know how many liters (or US gallons) of gas remain when the warning comes on? Thanks John
 
It says in the full (optional or online) manual (page 91):
  • Comes on when the fuel reserve is running low (approximately 1.1 U.S. gal./4.0 Liter left).
  • Blinks if there is a problem with the fuel gauge.

Thanks Viking79 that gives me about 80 km range to true empty - and a 570 km full range at moderate speeds (50 mph /80 km/hr) from my last measurements
