What is the digital display on the steering wheel? The website has tons of photos, but, amazingly, not one photo of the phone mount in a MINI Cooper. Then Craven writes this in bold type (they must not realize 2020 SEs have digital instrument clusters, too):
This mount is not compatible with the digital instrument cluster found on MY21 and up MINIs.
I do believe they linked the wrong mount. In my searching this is the correct mount for the SE (or any Mini with the digital dash):

Sorry, better link to the exact page:

Photos there of it installed, really fits perfectly.

Covercraft makes the official MINI one, FYI. That's what I have and it works fine for me. They do make two versions, one for cars with the rain sensor and one without. Are you sure they sent you the right one?
I ordered the third option last night.

I bought this and installed it last week. It wasn’t too hard, but it was a little unnerving taking off the digital cluster. It’s super high quality, but I’m not convinced that I like the positioning options.
It's a small dash, I can't find anywhere better to put it. The ProClip option is way down low and over by the passenger's knee, which is way too far to glance for my GPS screen.
I agree it's not perfect, but it's the best option I have been able to come up with.

I have had it bounce off the magnet mount a few times when hitting hard bumps, the mag could be a bit stronger, but there are ways to deal with that.
Don't regret my purchase of it, seems like the best compromise.

Unless you count my subtle, but expensive, non-ICE-skeuomorphic scoopless hood, the only mod I've made to my SE is installing MINI's 4.25-inch Sport Aerial. I think it's the perfect size--I like it more than the satellite bump without any radio antenna like some cars have.

Lol I just finally had a chance to look through all the goodies from my recent ECS order, and realized I ordered the genuine MINI sport aerial, though I thought for sure I had ordered one of the generic ECS aluminum ones. I’m not disappointed. ;)

I haven't seen the ECS antenna, but I think MINI's Sport Aerial Rod is perfect. I wouldn't trade it for a shark fin like so many modern cars have.
