I'm well aware some folks traveling cross country or extensive travel have run into a snag hear and there with Electrify America locations. But my wife recently talked me into putting together a trip we can go on to break in our new ID.4 Pro S. We really like the Northwest and want to visit Bend, Vancouver, WA. heading up to Puallup and over past Mt. Rainer and head back down to Yakima and stop at some of their wine country in Zillah, WA and then had back to our home in central Idaho. I scoped out probably no less then 10 possible charge sites that are EA and noted there were but a few issues at some of their locations. I called them and spoke to a really sweet lady there that was so very patient. We went through each location and gave each one complete analysis of past and current users that had used the sites to verify their quality and reliability. There were only Bolt and ChaDamo users that had any issues which was a good start. One location in Hermiston is currently down and is being worked on as we speak so that was good to hear. All in all I must have had her on the phone for at least 45 minutes and she gave me great in depth analysis of each site's history and specs. It was amazing.
That would have alone been a GREAT experience. Then low and behold she called me back about 2 hours after our conversation. She said she noted on my EA account that my ID.4 VW Plan was not selected as my Default in the App. She patiently talked me through the process of doing so. I had no idea it wasn't set that way. She was only concerned because earlier she went thought the entire process of getting hooked up at a station. And said it was possible that due to my NOT having my program selected as the Default it may have caused some delays. What a sweetheart. So far this is my first interaction with them and it was 5 Stars. Can't wait to hit the road in September and get to use their system.
