Electric window advice

I am in the UK and on the offside of the vehicle, the drivers side in England, is a one touch control to lower or raise the windows.

On the left hand side, this facility does not exist and you have to continuously hold the button.

However, in Europe and America, this is the drivers side and would have this one-touch facility.

My question is this - where is this relay located and how easy would it be to retrofit it to my vehicle so that I could also get this one-touch facility on the passenger side? (which is the drivers side in LHD markets)

I'm not a Nissan expert, but the one-touch lowering/raising capability may be built into the motor, not just a different relay--there may be additional sensors, too. I base this on dim memories of how my 2000 Honda Insight worked and my quest to get the passenger's window to work the same way as the driver's window (which had only one-touch lowering, not one-touch raising).

In the days are bold, you could chop and change things from different models, but with Canbus wiring, it is slightly different and hopefully, somebody will be familiar with the mechanism on right hand, drive models and also "foreign" readers who are familiar with left-hand drive models.
 
Did you once have it and lose it? The feature resets if the 12V battery is disconnected. To reenable, from the lowered position raise and continue to hold the button for 5 seconds after the window is fully closed. That will reenable the auto raise feature, at least on NA versions of the Leaf.

No, I didn't, Kenny. I am trying to get it but I probably need help from somebody who services these cars, and has a passing interest in the group, as my query is quite specialist
