Driving in highway Clarity suddenly flashes brake and shakes steering wheel

Quote for truth “Drivers must learn the glitches, expect them, and understand how to calmly drive through them.“ most of all the quirks the Clarity has I’ve become so accustomed I just keep on driving, I’ve also adjusted my driving, become much less aggressive.

The thing that doesn’t work well for me still is the stop and go cruise. It’s too late to start slowing, therefor it’s too abrupt when it does and to slow to resume from stop with either a tap of the go pedal or push of resume.

I get learning the quirks, every car has them. I can even get use to the car braking when the car in front is turning. It's the unexpected braking that scares me.

Interesting, thank you. What I'm concerned about is the braking. Once in a while I get the brake flash warning. Sometimes I also get the warning and audible alert. In not concerned about those. But like I stated about four times now with the shaking of the wheel. I'm assuming next is braking. So if I'm doing 50mph and the wheel shakes and brake flashes, the system isn't far off from applying brakes out of nowhere. This is pretty scary.
This happens to me a lot of the curvy roads I drive but with visual warnings only. Also happened the same with my 2017 Accord Hybrid. I've only had the brakes actually applied a couple times when there was just cause (person or deer in car's sightline). I believe you can adjust the settings to make these warnings more or less sensitive.
