Hello, maybe a little off topic, but I see you are interested in Ukraine, so I decided to suggest, if of course it will be interesting, to ask questions, if there are any. I live in Ukraine, so if you are interested in any questions, ask, you will get a direct answer and a loyal situation and a vision "from the inside" and on the fact. If it is not interesting/off topic, I apologize. Have a good time.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind hearing form someone inside Ukraine. Here are a few questions.

I understand there has not been an election for a long time there. What do citizens think about that?

There used to be a lot of corruption in the govt incl at the top. Is this still true? I understand a lot of aid and money that has gone to the Ukraine is unaccounted for.

Are citizens willing to give up some territory that has been conquered and held by Russia in exchange for long term peace backed up by Nato countries in EU?

During WW-2, we learned that attacking civilians often created a white-hot hatred of the bombers … not resignation and surrender. Is that true in Ukraine too?

I got the impression that during the Soviet days, Ukraine made major contributions to advance technology whereas the Russians were more ‘bruit force’ than skill. Still the same today?

I am seeing a lot of reports suggesting the Russians are abusive to their front line, infantry. They are using a high ratio of those charged with crimes and have forcing groups behind to prevent retreat or anything but force into killing zones. Are there similar practices in the Ukrainian forces?

During our Vietnam disaster, a lot of petty crime and marginal skilled were given the option of joining a service. It was a disaster as unmotivated and ethically challenged troops behave badly.

Reports suggest Ukraine deep attacks on logistics and oil are impacting Russian attitudes about the war, yet the Russians are still attacking. Any thoughts about this approach?

I sure hope Ukrainian troops get rotation and leave from the front lines. Combat is exhausting and any break is welcome relief. Hopefully the folks back home give them due deference when on leave.

Thanks,
Bob Wilson
