Door Jam Paint Rub (MINI SE 2022)

Hi,

I have had my mini cooper SE for 3-4 months now but I just noticed that I had paint rubbing off in the door jams on both sides! Anyone else noticed that? I bought the car brand new so quite surprising!

Hi Sadde. Yes, this issue has affected me and others on this and other Mini forums. I noticed the rubbing after only 400 miles or so. It’s a known fault with a fix for the symptoms at least at the dealer.

Take the TSB to the dealership and they will fix it for you.

Mine started not even a week from taking delivery and the dealership fixed it after I gave them the TSB print out.

Rather protect it now than have to go to MINI after the wear has taken hold…
