Given the "oil-igarchy" of the President's cabinet, none of this should come as a surprise to anyone.

The person who, unfortunately for the USA, currently occupies the Oval Office, sent a very strong signal of his intent when he appointed someone to head the EPA who wants to dismantle and destroy it, or at a minimum wants to greatly reduce the power and influence of the agency.
