Did Domenick get his Bolt?

Congratulations on your new (to you) Tesla. Sounds like you got a great deal! Enjoy the car you deserve it. Safe travels.

I haven't been driving enough to finish the podcast. Did the Tesla come with FSD or just AutoPilot?

Don't be in a hurry learning AutoPilot ... treat it with an abundance of caution. In 2019, it took me three weeks to map out the 'bad spots' and develop confidence in it for ordinary driving. Yes, I use it in urban driving too.

It's actually got FSD beta. I haven't activated it yet, but I did try the traffic-aware cruise control (TACC). I've been initiating the lane changes with the turn signal myself, but I might let it do that for me a bit today.

If you have premium connectivity ($10/mo, free trial?) for your drive, I've found the "Play <Song Name>" voice command works really well. One of my favorite things about my car.
I do have this and the passenger seat has the lumbar thing too.
Kind of funny, my '88 Ford Ranger has a similar lumbar support, though I think it's an inflatable bladder of some kind. The Tesla lumbar support appears to have two separate support things going on. I need to read up on them.

Autopilot and FSD skill will come with time but initially treat it as a strange critter who is likely to bite unexpectedly.

I avoid letting either do a turn at intersections, especially multi lane turns. Straight through works but left turns can often change lanes during the turn or even head into an oncoming traffic lane.

I recently published a YouTube video on the “Wilson Wander.”

I bought my Tesla for AutoPilot and it has significantly improved. FSD is still a little rough around the edges so vigilance is warranted.

BTW, get used to smiling a lot!
