We ordered black. But will take pretty much any colour. I bugged our delarship to let me know when they get a blue or a lake silver in to be able to see them (lake silver was our second choice).. I loved both colours now that I’ve seen them real life (I wasn’t so keen on the pictures)

Apparently there’s been a Hyundai shipment that’s just arrived at Port of Vancouver. Dealer in Kamloops saying I should have it by months end.=)

I also got the call that the ship and vehicles have arrived in Van. Estimated date of arrival in Kamloops is the 27th but Kevin will call when they're notified that the vehicles are on the car transport trucks.
I'm so excited about this!

Have you folks given thought (duh, of course u have!) to ditching the stock rubber, using the rims for dedicated winter treads and moving to a lower profile tire and larger rim combo? I’m thinking +1” or +2” on the rim size - nothing too stoopid as I don’t wanna leave myself open to flatting on a pothole.
I posted this some time ago, but I thought it would be appropriate here as well. Reminds me of where a some of us were a few months back:

It’s going to be a bit of a crap-shoot as far as balancing tire wear, handling, rolling resistance, grip, drag coefficients (I believe engineering of stock rims took this into account(?).

Came home from work today to a call on the answering machine saying that my car is scheduled to arrive in Vancouver July 26-29 and it should be ready to pick up in Abbotsford a couple of days later! Its a Lake Silver Ultimate ordered on April 23rd.

Fresh off the boat! Here she is, on the lot, in Kamloops. Just waiting on dealer to process paperwork so I can actually sit in one for the first time. Lol. #HopeILikeIt

Thx! Looking at it in person was a *great* relief. The showroom display for colour options was full of multi-faceted, 4-inch square paint samples under fluorescent light. This is the ‘galactic grey’ and kinda reminds me of the softer, pastel-esque colours that Subaru and Ford have for their SUV’s and trucks, respectively.

Ya, I really didn't like the grey in the brochure but it's much more interesting in person. And the blue that I got is a real shape-shifter. Blue one minute then seafoam green the next. I envy the choices available in the regular Kona. That Acid Yellow is very striking.

I'd sure like to see side by side photos of the grey and the lake silver, because that looks an awful lot like mine, which was sold to me as the latter.
