Lol indeed.

I'm about a 5 hour drive from Oxnard. If I could go down and pick it up, I would....but I'm sure there is no process to take delivery at the port instead of the dealership. And so, we wait!

I just talked to ASKMINI. They are also estimating mine will be loaded onto a truck on 1/2/22 and is slated to arrive in San Jose CA on 1/6/22.

I guess I'll stop obsessively checking the Mini Garage tracking page and sit tight for a while....:(

I’ve found - first hand - that the Mini Garage tracking page is a bit inaccurate. It told me that my car was at the dealer on Monday. It was not. It was not on Tuesday. Despite its absence, my MA has set up a transaction appointment for Friday 12/31. He expects it to arrive today (Wednesday) but won’t have it fully prepared until early next week for delivery. The business manager said that they’re delivering approximately eight cars per day this week. So, I get to complete the purchase by year-end but it won’t be in the driveway until sometime next week.

Mine, off of the Asteria Leader, and despite getting a Jan 2 truck loading date, the tracker says mine is at the dealership. waiting to hear back from the MA if it's true. Has anyone else noticed this inaccuracy at the dealership stage?

I went down to the dealership to see if it was actually there, and.... IT's there! Woot! Woot! MA wasn't promising delivery by the end of the year but hinted towards thurs/fri pickup.

Did they let you sit in it? I stalked my MINI dealership until my SE showed up and they let me sit in it for a while before they started the dealer prep. Sadly, the next day, my delivery day, was that MINI dealer's last day in business. It was the last MINI Cooper and the only SE they ever delivered.
 
Thanks. Just checked and still at the port but keeping my fingers crossed. Odd they would be on two trucks but your dealer may sell more than Marin and it filled up the truck.

They expedited out of the New York center last week so should here as well, I would think.

I didn't ask because I didn't want to bother him more than necessary. He said he has 30 cars to sell by friday. I just got my proof and left.

I had the same experience. Tuesday the week mine arrived at the port, ASK MINI said it would go on a truck Friday, but it was actually already on a truck and got to the dealer Thursday, nearly a week ahead of what they told me on the phone.

I was going to post this yesterday, but I didn't want to get your hopes up :)
