Congratulations! Yeah, those scissor spokes are nice! I might have gone with those had I gotten the Iconic.
 
My MINI is now in transit on the Horizon Highway! Expected at port in Brunswick, GA on June 21. Anyone else on this one? Can't wait!

Curious who else might have ordered a mini around May 15, 2021 and haven't received a production number? I have emailed my sales person, and I get the "chip" issue response.
 
Maybe we ordered Schrödinger's car. Track my MINI still says it's stuck in quality check (3 days and counting). Ask-MINI says the same. The dealer assures me production has finished and it's waiting to ship. It's both finished and unfinished.
Last June our refrigerator stopped working. All the local stores were out of fridges, so we ordered one that was supposed to arrive in October. It still isn't here, after 11 months. I'm starting to get flashbacks to that experience.
 
@TempoHouse - as I'm still stuck in quality check as well, I wonder if there's some piece that's in the 'final assembly' step that they're waiting on. I have all the items with availability issues listed above in my build, so perhaps something on that list is the last to go in. Or at least that's the story I've come up with as I continue to check on it. :)

That's quite a long time to wait for a fridge - I suspect you figured out something else in the meantime? I do have a pair of backordered motorcycle riding gloves that are at 9 months and counting.

This is my best guess too. I doubt the sales guy's claim that it is finished. We have a car now. It works. And yeah, we did something else with the fridge.
