No sunroof in Australia?? My sympathies. I loved the dual sunroof in my old 2012 Cooper S. It was the best sunroof of any car I've had. I'm also looking forward to cloth seats again. Black leather was tough on hot sunny days. ;)

Yep. I really don't know what they were thinking. I'll probably end up tinting my windows to get some extra sun protection and to help with the black leather seats.

I just added my info to the list. There is a one day delay for mine due to covid the person who inputs it to the system is off on Tuesdays so they will do it tomorrow. I was made a change last night even so any delays are on me lol. I kept changing my mind on the wheels.

After Jessie (the SE) arrived in Galveston, my tracker went to "at the port" and then, that same day, to "in transit." Since my dealer is 30 miles from the port, I figured I'd have it on Saturday. But, then my tracker went back to "at the port," and my dealer hasn't seen her, yet.

Time is traveling backwards, for me.

Wouldn't you love to know how that tracking data gets entered? Did someone revise the wrong car's status, say, "Oops," and reset you to the port? Did someone yell from another room, "Hey! All those MINIs I said were in transit never left!"

If they're going to present a linear graph depicting the events leading to delivery, it should be truly linear with each stage getting its own check-mark. Of course, there could still be back-tracking due to errors, but it would be clear that it was back-tracking rather the mysterious sharing of check-marks that can be especially confusing if you don't check the progress every day.

You can call 866-ASK-MINI and find out if it's been released to a carrier, but then it could sit for weeks (like mine did) waiting to actually go on a truck. The last leg of the journey seems to be the most aggravating.

@Lainey, thanks for adding your info! It helps us to track trends in timing.

I will add an average stat for time from 'destination port' to dealer. That's about the only one I had not done yet.

20201016_040340.webp Yeah, there's something wrong with the tracker. My car arrived at the dealer, yesterday, nine days after the ship docked in Galveston, but my tracker shows this:

Feels good to update those last few columns in the spreadsheet. Anyone know how to contact Dominick the admin to make this a sticky thread?

I'm happy to say that my spreadsheet line is now complete! I didn't try to move my information to the green section because I don't want to mess it up.

I'll update my stats tracking. I have not posted an update on my graphs because our data has not moved much in two weeks. But we are starting to get some movement now on several vehicles.
