I doubt there are more cars being shipped from the UK to the US in these days of COVID-19, so I assume there are fewer ships available to take them. My SE sat in Southampton for 6 weeks while other SE's manufactured after mine made it onto a ship. Which cars get shipped appears to be controlled by the luck of the draw. I hope your luck changes and your SE is drawn soon.Congrats to those of you who had much shorter waits at Southampton!

My car arrived at the dealer with just 2 miles of range on the guess-o-meter. Does the battery leave the factory fully charged? Who knows? I'd love to know how much charge it lost during its 6-week post-factory pause, but I can't stay out of my SE for more than a few hours, so I can't run that experiment.
The next status bubble says "at dealer", so does that mean my SE is on a US truck to the dealer, or is it still on a ship?
After being "at the port" for 5 weeks. It changed to "in transit" today. The next status bubble says "at dealer", so does that mean my SE is on a US truck to the dealer, or is it still on a ship?
Current status of my SE:

From what I have seen others report, the status will go back to "at the port" when it arrives at the US port, then go back to "in transit" again when it is being transported to your dealership.
Excellent news!! Do you guys know which ship they are on?
So...I'm gonna make a call or two to see if I can get a clearer answer. Will report back when I learn more.

It's completely illogical for MINI to create a linear graph tracking the stages leading from construction to delivery and then decide they had to economize on the number of check-mark bullets on the graph, requiring them to loop back to re-use named bullets multiple times. It violates the principle of a linear graph. Each time I checked the MINI tracking site, it kept showing my SE as "In Transit". I don't know if the status is lagging a lot or if it was processed by the VDC so quickly that I didn't see it change...
