I configured a GT-Line EV3 on the Kia website and requested a quote - local CA dealership just called me and said the initial EV3's are coming in October. No GT-Line's in that shipment, the only trim he mentioned was the Wind. Told him to call me when they were a expecting a GT-Line in my color.

Ken J, Current 22 Bolt EUV Launch Edition owner.

P.S. Does anyone else agree with me that the fluorescent green seatbelts on the GT interior make it too ugly to order?

Do all EV GT interiors look like this? You could change the seat belts, but you would still have the fluorescent green stripe on the seats. Would you stock up on black Sharpie pens?

The Wind is the only trim option that has a choice of interior. Also, replacing the seatbelts is something that is a major deal (pyrotechnic pretensioners, etc) that is probably not a regular dealership option on a new car.

Now I see that green is used all over the EV3 GT--you'd have to buy all the black Sharpie pens at Staples. Perhaps getting to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds would help you overcome your aversion to that color.

I'm thinking the color is Kia's ploy to keep the GT a young peoples' car by discouraging old people like me from buying it.
