I ordered Bill Jacobs (chicago area). Good experience. I did not even visit dealer. All email. $1000 down and they gave me allocated slot and a modest amount off msrp. Very easy
 
I'm sorry to read about all of your misfortunes. I've had a wonderful relationship with my dealer. I've been going to them since they started doing business eight or nine years ago. They knew I was eager to get an SE (and they were eager to get my 2020 S). They found one that met my specs on the docks in New Jersey, and delivered it in about a week. They added a Union Jack on the roof, gave me a good price, and have patiently answered all of my electric questions. The chief mechanic went for SE training. They even (re)started an enthusiasts group (wisconsinminis.org) and have organized many activities.
