I have a 2022 Dacia Spring (aka Renault City) with only 10,000 km on the clock. For some reason, sometimes it completely shuts down while driving (the system goes into a locked or "limp" state) and I can't start it back on. Sometimes it happens once a day, sometimes 4 times in an hour. I have to wait for 10-15 mins to start it back on and continue driving or disconnect the 12V battery to start it. What could be the reason for that? Any advice would be appreciated. I don’t have an official Dacia/Renault dealership in my country, so calling them or going there it’s out of question.

I recommend checking the 12V battery and all battery terminals first. A weak 12V battery or a loose ground connection can cause random shutdowns and force the system into a locked state. If possible, scan the car for error codes before replacing any parts.
