Cracking Leather on Steering Wheel

Hey all,

We’ve got a ‘19 with ultimate trim. The leather (?) wrap covering the steering wheel is developing small cracks on the outer circumstance at about ‘1 o’clock’. Anyone had issue with this? We don’t have our car stored on a garage so it could be the sun exposure.... thx!!

Have you ever cleaned it with anything other than soap and water? Also have heard that some of the hand cleaners (for covid protection) could damage some materials. I think it is the alcohol?

Cant say for sure but I’ll enquire with the wife as it’s her daily driver. Thanks!
