That's too expensive, sounds like BMW territory. Are all Bay Area Honda dealers this expensive? We just completed our A1 service over the weekend. Total charge with tax is about $110 in SF Bay Area.
Here's break down:
$80 for oil change
$40 for tire rotation
12% discount (with coupon)
+ Sales Tax
The cost of living is sky high in the Bay Area. I used to live there so that doesn't sound off at all. BMW, Mercedes, etc can be much higher for the same service. In PA, my A01 at the dealer was less than $60, no discounts. My house here would cost more than 10X as much in the Bay Area. That's too expensive, sounds like BMW territory. You can get tires rotated for free at America's Tire or Discount Tire.
Oil Change with Oil filter change. Did it myself. Cost of motor oil and oil filter was $15.
Tire rotation, did it myself, $0
Total cost. $15, and one Hour of my time.
I buy my oil when there's a rebate from $10 to $12 from Mobil or Pennzoil. I've been buying a 5 qt container from Walmart or Amazon for $20-$23 before rebate. The rebate is easy to do and takes 5 minutes. I heard you can double dip if there is a store rebate (Pepboys, Autozone, O'Reilly, etc) as well as manufacturer's.The cost of the oil and filter was $15? That's an amazing deal. Best I can find for Mobil 1 0W-20 is $5.32/qt after a $10 instant rebate from Costco.

I have maintenance minder code A01 plus coupons the dealer sent to me for oil change ($22) and tire rotation ($10). Are folks suggesting they’re going to whack me for the “0” service (multi point inspection)?
Just got my A01 with tire rotation and the cost was $50.83 from Shingle Springs (CA) Honda. They have treated me well thus far.I'm getting the A01 service tomorrow and I was assuming the cost would be about $40 which is advertised for an oil change and multipoint inspection. However, I just saw an ad for a discount of $25 off the regular A01 price of $145.
For those of you that did the service already, about how much did you pay and did you get the official A01 service? What is included in A01 over and above an oil change plus multi-point inspection?
Thanks!

$22 for an oil change ? Probably if your car uses regular oil.I have maintenance minder code A01 plus coupons the dealer sent to me for oil change ($22) and tire rotation ($10). Are folks suggesting they’re going to whack me for the “0” service (multi point inspection)?
