Since I believe in God, specifically the God revealed in the Old and New Testament, I thank Him for all my blessings. In this case, the joy of having my son turn out to be a young man of personally fine honor and character who has an excellent work ethic, plans ahead, and knows the value of a dollar.
Is it not the hopes and dreams (and in my case, prayers) of any good father for their children to be raised and turn out better than they are in every way?
A few of the Scripture references for what the Lord had to do with it and why I am thankful can be found in Rom 8:28, Prov 22:6, and 1 Thes 5:26-18.
