Spot this recently registered plate expiring in October 2023, so likely registered in July. I thought they are sent to crusher after lease ends.

I think 2020 was the last year these were being leased. I think it was a 4 year lease? But if it was only 3 years, there would still be some of these BEV on the road through the end of this calendar year.

I just confirmed it was only a 36 month lease. But what a bargain for only $200 a month with virtually unlimited mileage. Some folks have reportedly extended the lease for a year or two.

Of course a BEV with 80-odd miles of range would only be appealing to a limited number of drivers.
