How dirty is your car when it only takes you 20 minutes to do a wash? I got some Optimum No Rinse a while back to see if I could cut down on wash time, but I was scared of scratching the paint so I made sure it got really wet, but then I had to spend much longer than 20 minutes (can't remember how long) doing that and drying it. Maybe if the car had just a light dusting after driving for a few days in no rain? My problem is I always wait too long or after it's rained, and by then the car is too dirty and it scares me to only wash with the No Rinse.

I wash the car myself. The main reason for a car wash is I really can't do much about an underbody wash, which is a good thing to do occasionally , especially living near salt water. But for what it's worth, when I wash the car, it includes fully drying, doing the wheels, and even the tires. So it's a lot more like a half hour than 10 minutes. And that doesn't include fully vacuuming the seats and the carpet, polishing the dash and controls, and taking out the mats and cleaning them. I guess we have different opinions about what a "clean car" is.

Oooh

When I was doing more details (maybe pre-2018) I was looking at an extractor. I might still pick one up, but for now I'm ok with the Tornador Max and Velocity Vac. I haven't used them in the SE (leather seats and Kagu mats, and nobody eats in here!).
