I wad actually referring to your want of a test drive before pulling the trigger. I think they'll just sell it out from under you if you seem skittish.
Regarding the (lack of) a rear wiper: cars spend a lot of there time stopped or a low speeds. No amount of airflow will clear a window at a stop light or crawling in traffic. And snow, salt, dust and mud don't care much about airflow either. In short, designing a car with a stubby hatchback without a wiper is just ignoring reality.
