Can someone help me understand the warranty of a PHEV California vehicle?

I understand that the california warranty is different (extended), how long is it exactly and what does it cover?

I'm looking to purchase a certified preowned 2018 model that has a CPO warranty of 7 year/100k miles but the required california battery warranty would be much longer than that.
