The BMW electric i3 Touring (still not confirmed for North America), has finally been spotted in the wild:

Why there's camouflage on the front is a mystery--I'm sure the front end will look just like that of the i3 sedan. Can't wait to see the uncamouflaged side mirror!

Don't worry, BMW is not adopting the windshield-wiper parking strategy from the Ferrari Luce.

Well it's nice to see it's not an SUV shape. Do the rear seats fold flat, being similar to the MINI Clubman? The photo makes it seem pretty long, though.
 
Google says Carscoops said on Facebook: "The upcoming all-electric BMW i3 Touring (built on the Neue Klasse platform) features rear seats that fold completely flat." Undoubtably, sources with more reliability will be forthcoming.
