bluelink - satnav

Hi All

My Bluelink benefits stopped and I don’t have access to most of its features which is generous of Hyundai.

I”ve noticed that I no longer get traffic updates. If I set a route on the satnav, does it take into account traffic and just not show me or does it just show me the quickest route in normal conditions?

Thanks

I find the Hyundai App and BlueLink pretty useful at times, for example when I'm not sure I locked the car, the ability to check and lock it remotely is nice. My 3 years of ownership is coming up and I expect , soon, I won't have the Bluelink features unless I subscribe. Does anyone know what the cost of subscribing to Bluelink is ? I'm in California, USA.

It requires 3 different features to be subscribed to ... Connected Care, Remote, & Guidance. You can see them by clicking on MENU in the Bluelink App. Each cost $99 ... so, $297 for the package.

Thanks ! 3 subscriptions ?! @ $10/month each, or $30/month - that's a bit too rich for my taste. I will see how dependent I am on the features after the service expires and decide.

At three years mine was extended for ever

Actually it comes out to $25/mo. Where they get you is for the extended features they require Connected Care first ($99/year). Remote Service, then the Guidance ... each at $99/yr. If you don't need the Remote features, you can always get the Guidance by just using Google Maps on your phone and enable Android Auto on you EV.

Mine too. Canada here.
Nice ! I wonder if this is true in the U.S. I see yours is a 2024 Kona? Ultimate. Ultimate isn't a trim I am familiar with, I suspect it is like the "Limited" trim offered in the U.S.? Has Anyone in the U.S. found they can still use BlueLink after 3 years ? I don't really understand why 3 services are necessary ? I'd just like to have the Hyundai App still work. Without these connectivity services what am I giving up ? Over the air updates ? Hyundai Real Time navigation ? Emergency Services ? and all of the features in the Hyundai App. I don't mind using Google Maps & Android Auto for Navigation, and the Charge Network Apps for charging status, the rest, I think I can live without.
