October 28, 2022 car would not start with a full charge. Received a Battery Management Problem notification. Two dealers could not schedule us to take the car in for three weeks, so we took it to Jenkins Hyundai Leesburg. After checking with Hyundai headquarters they said it would need a new battery which would take three to six months. Was informed A few days later would not receive a new battery until March 2023.
It's now January 2023 we've been without our Ioniq5. We were contacted by Hyundai USA. Processing our claim will take 3 to 5 weeks. We were provided a ICE loaner from Jenkins Hyundai.
We ran into another Ioniq5 owner with the same problem.
Has anyone else in EV world been affected with this dilemma?
