Hi. Wish you a Merry Christmas! Hope your problem has been solved.
This is my car jump start. It can provide power for my car or other 12V electronics. Works great so far.

Interesting thread. So how does the 12v Battery in our EV actually get regularly charged? Only when vehicle is moving (regenerative) or how specifically? Is there some display ICON that tells you how full the battery charge is ? I haven't stumbled across it yet in reading the manual.
 
The 12 volt battery is charged by the high voltage traction battery via DC to DC converter. It typically supplies voltage when the car's ignition is turned on, utility mode and whenever it detect the 12V battery's voltage has dropped below a particular voltage setpoint when you have the battery saver function enabled. There is no icon that indicates 12V battery's actual voltage status.
