Just wondering if anyone knows if the Kona EV 2022 Ultimate can be made to close its windows (and sunroof, maybe) when the car is locked. I've got a 4 button remote (with the circular Hold icon)....
Remote Start: On many modern Hyundai models (such as certain EVs and push-button start vehicles), pressing the lock button once and then pressing and holding the HOLD button for 3 seconds will remotely start the engine and turn on your climate control. [1, 2]
Trunk or Liftgate Release: On models with a power liftgate or trunk release, pressing and holding the button for 1 to 2 seconds unlatches or opens the boot. [1, 2, 3]
Panic Alarm: On some remotes, the button labeled "HOLD" next to the horn symbol is meant to trigger the panic alarm if held down for more than one second. [1]
You can check out more details about your specific key layout in the Hyundai Owner's Manual. You can also refer to the discussion on Speak EV regarding remote start features. [1, 2]
