On my recent road trips, I used Android Auto and the Audible app on my Samsung Phone. I enjoy listening to books on trips to pass the time. It would play fine for 20-30 minutes, and then the sound would hang, making an ack-ack-ack-ack sound. I could unplug and replug the phone and then it would work for a while, and then have same problem.
I did some research and Audible recommended downloading the "enhanced" format of books instead of the standard format. I did this and listened for several hours this weekend with no issues. Hopefully this is a permanent fix.
