Is it late 2021?

Of the big three coming out with competitive EV's, the Nissan looks to be the best value if it selling the 300 mile, FWD Ariya for $49k which matches VW's ID4. Ford's MachE being the third compelling EV out in 2021.

ID4's three years of free Electrify America charging gives it a price edge.

Nissan being the last to 2021 market, it would be great if Nissan matched VW with the three years of free charging in which case it becomes the best EV deal of 2021.

Can anyone guess the ground clearance? Looking for a good snow car (though I don't offroad), and the e-4orce 4WD sounds pretty amazing. Just wondering how high off the ground it is.

Got a call from the dealer today. It's all dealer speak, I know, but they said that production on the Ariya for Canada is expected to start in March with deliveries anticipated for April/May. Pricing will be available early in the new year. Fact or fiction...you decide :D

Hmmm, the "reservation program" is coming in January https://www.nissan.ca/vehicles/electric-cars/ariya.html . Back in the day, I reserved my 2018 Leaf in Feb 2018 and got it in April....

Well, maybe not so much fiction after all. Sounds like your Leaf purchase proceeded pretty quickly.

Dealer is calling us back when they have pricing. Whether we go through with it or not depends on it qualifying for the incentives. With the way the federal gov't is talking now the incentives may increase as well.

Yes, the scrap-it going away is definitely a loss. Maybe the BC gov't will reevaluate their incentives as well to make up for the loss.
