Aptera released this image, showing the vehicle's carbon fiber SMC "tub" (the largest single CFSMC piece ever forged) with its integrated wiring channels. This image is of the driver's side of the vehicle, featuring the seat mounts in the foreground and the pedals in the distance.

That large SMC tub is, indeed, impressive, but will it be repairable?

Does Aptera plan to voluntarily crash-test their 3-wheeler to show it meets the same safety standards as 4-wheeled vehicles?

If not repairable it will be - at least - replaceable.

Yes - Aptera is designed to meet and/or exceed automotive safety standards so they've planned to have it crash-tested from the get-go. Neither the Feds nor the insurance industry require vehicles to be independently tested (in-house testing suffices) but Aptera wants the sort of rating that only NHTSA or IIHS can provide.
