And the Clarity doesn't even get a mention...

Just more proof that anyone who spends more than 10 minutes on this forum will be more knowledgeable about the Clarity than 99.9% of the dealers and automotive reporters who are by far and away largely clueless when it comes to the Clarity.
 
I don't mean to downplay the Civic. It's a great compact car and has it's place as an inexpensive fuel efficient car. However, Dan Calhoun, a product planner at American Honda Motor Company, closes at the end with:"Cars. That's an integral part of who we are at Honda, and it's going to continue to be part of who we are. And that's why we put so much effort into both the Civic and the Accord. We're going to be there for a long time." I get it that the article was about the Civic as a fuel-efficient entry car, but they could have taken a little time and effort to sell the Clarity and/or Insight as great fuel efficient cars. They came off as the Civic and the Accord are the only Honda cars available.
