Aluminum panels?

So I was looking at the emergency manual and the brown panels as shown as aluminum.

But what are the panels above the rear wheel made of?

Directly above the real wheel, it’s plastic as part of the wrap around rear bumper. Higher above the wheel, it’s part of the roof and is steel. You can prove this with a refrigerator magnet. It’s the only place at the rear that will hold a magnetic sign.
