Car has ~25k miles, 2019 model. It doesnt matter if you are in HV or EV modes, when going 40+ miles per hour there is sort of a buzzing noise, almost sounds like a cessna plane really really far away (this isnt angry bees or electric motor). Anyone experience anything like this?

It does change a pitch a bit as you go faster or slower, but its not really there under 40 MPH. And its very steady sound. I checked tires they seems fine, checked for debris under hood, all fine.

I recorded audio here, you can hear me accelerate (and you hear the electric motor, normal noise), but then at about 10 to 11 second mark a faint background buzzing (like I said, distant cessna plane) is introduced, thats when I hit ~40 MPH. And it stays there until I drop below 40mph.

I tried turning off A/C fans, switching HV/EV modes, doesnt matter, same exact behavior.

You probably need headphones to make it out (audio attached)

I can barely make it out with my laptop speakers cranked full blast.

since it's speed dependent,
do you have anything lose on the car? a license plate frame? a wiper blade? a new sticker? anything that could cause some rattle at wind speeds.

Does it do it in high-speed corners? (a 50 mph long exit ramp sweeper) perhaps left is different than right? that could help pin point where it's coming from.

Dropped it off at Honda this morning, the tech drove in the car and said he heard it too, his first guess was also wheel bearing. Its like $200 for diagnostic, but he said he will put it up on a lift and listen to each wheel individually. Ill update how it goes.
