In recent correspondence with the Tire Rack, they asked me if I knew anyone in the South Bend, Indiana area who could bring their Clarity into them for a short time so they could get wheel fitment measurements. If anyone on here is in that area and can do that, send me a PM and I'll connect you with the person at the Tire Rack.

I don't think it's as much when both go down. That's still really tight, especially with a shallower offset than that. I wouldn't be comfortable with it. But it doesn't appear there's alot of the cool wheels in out offsets.

Finally found a reputable source (Discount Tire Direct) for the compatiblity of aftermarket wheels (specifically offset vs width) for the Clarity. TireRack is must still be testing as they don’t offer wheels for this car yet.

Anyways here’s a summary of the sizes based on the models they confirm compatible:

18"
  • 18x8 35, 45 offset
  • 18x8.5 35 offset
  • 18x9 38, 40 offset

19"
  • 19x8 40 offset
  • 19x8.5 30, 35, 40, 42, 45 offset
  • 19x9.5 40 offset

new Clarity owner here! Love this car and looking into wheels and ended up here. Has anyone bought aftermarket wheels yet that can share any pics, battery stats after the change, etc? Any update to this thread sure would help any new owners like myself and we would be very grateful of course.
