Yeah, there's an SE convertible in Italy I want to buy. Do you have a plan to register your Aceman in the US?

Really? I didn't know the Aceman was available yet. I'd be tempted to do that since I have over 97,000 miles on my SE.

i don't think I'd be allowed to register it without having to pay the tarrifs. I might just end up registering it in mexico. the problem might be getting a insurance that covers Mexican license plates in the US

There's a dealer in Tijuana (www.tijuana.mini.com.mx), could take Amtrak train to San Diego, zip into Tijuana and buy one, then drive it home. That'd be awesome.
