I took my car in to the dealer for A012 service, and the radar has been detecting cars to follow in the lane to the right of me since then, and seems to be following cars ahead rather closer than before (like the cone of detection is off to the right). It was fine on a 600+ mile trip the week before I brought it in. Is the radar something I can adjust myself, or do I have to convince them they screwed it up and should fix it without charging me?

It is hard to imagine how an A012 service could have affected this. Alignment of the radar is pretty complicated. Here is a video of this procedure using a 2018 Honda Accord (likely the same or very similar procedure for the Clarity):

It is really not all that complicated, but you need some specialized equipment including a radar test target, an open space, and a specialized scan tool that can provide aiming feedback. The adjustment itself is just two simple screws (one for up/down, and another for left/right).

A really dumb question - I assume you examined the radar emblem just to make sure nothing is visually ajar, or some kind of debris / crap on the fromt of the sensor...

No, externally all looks fine. Makes me think some tech tightened the wrong screws by mistake. Would be rather annoying if they intentionally did it just to get me back in for another service appointment.
