Got in the car this morning, normal routine for me and turned on the AC. It was blowing warm. I cycled the car, tried AC Max button and no luck. I tried to look at the radiator through the front bumper but don't see any damage. it worked fine last night when I parked the car and plugged it in to charge.

This is my first issue with the mini, almost hitting my 2nd year of ownership. Up until this no issues with the car. Made an appointment with the dealer but hoping it isn't a major issue.

I have had this happen twice, so about once every year and a half. It works normally afterwards so I just assume it’s a software bug. It’s so infrequent I forgot to mention it the other day when I had the recall done.

Unrelated but both my EVs also seem to limit the fan speed to very low when the interior temp is close to the exterior temp, no matter how high you set the fan.

I have my A/C on auto by default. But a couple of times, for some reason, it switched off by itself. Never tried to figure it out. I just press the auto and forget about it. But most annoying is when defrost is needed, the system does not know how to handle it. Ends up I had a fogged windscreen, etc. In the Subaru I used to have, I just put the system in auto and never had to worry about anything.
