A/B trip indicator only displays 3 digit mileage

Has anyone noticed the A/B trip only displays the last 3 digit of mileage? For example, a trip of 1234 km only shows 234km. Mine is the Canadian base model. Not sure if the US version has the same problem.

It’s not reset. On the info screen I can see the full A trip mileage with gas consumption.

I believe my old Elantra also only has 3 digits for Trip A/B

I know at least the A trip on my Clarity shows four digits. I had 1185 miles on it between gas fillups.
