Was quite interesting to watch. The company interviewed claimed that their little test patch being mined can be used to build batteries for 140 million electric cars. The little modules were formed over time from sea water and all hold the same proportion of these metals.
Of course, the opposition to mining the sea floor is just starting to ramp up, and probably won't be long before this gets the same opposition as earth mining and maybe worse.
