At "only" 6,112 pounds, it's a lot lighter than a 9,000-lb GMC Hummer (driveways are cheering!). However, it's surprising Stellantis would bring a new EV to the US market just as the $13K cheaper Ford Lightning pickup is fading.

The video shows it is pretty trail capable, good approach angles for stock.

I'm looking forward to seeing the aftermarket kit that comes out to support it. As solar improves, and assuming you're not stuck in tree cover, you could, in theory, at some point in the future, travel indefinitely and recharge from the sun, 1 mile a day :D

I'd be curious in a Gladiator Recon variant, which is supposedly in talks for 2028-ish last I saw. I might be in the market for a new truck at that point and it may grab my attention
