Y'all missed the point of my comment. When the yellow gauge on the left shows less than 100%, you have less available go-power. I don't care what you call it. Cold temperatures affect the go-power.
I would have to agree with MINI's claims based on my experience. Contrast with the (first generation) Fiat 500e or the Nissan Leaf, both of which have really poor cold weather behavior.
