2022 facelift owners left dangling

I just noticed looking at a few images of the facelift version charge port, the support straps for the protective covers location has been moved opposite the door hinge and no slot to hold the cover while charging.
Is it a big deal, no, but just some useless information.
Previous versions (support straps on hinged side c/w slotted holder):

New version (support straps opposite hinge and no holding slot):

Looks like the door latch is slightly different as well plus there's an added guide slot at the upper-right to keep the panel gaps consistent.
I've rarely used the cap holder lug but would like to see a design that keeps the cap insides dry while charging so that you don't have to check them before replacement.

They relocated it from the bottom right (near the ring light) to top right, maybe this is where they had some water intrusion causing the ring light LED to glow red at the bottom as posted earlier in another thread .

Electriceddy, indeed it's not a big deal. What is more of a deal is that the door itself opens further in front, so more clearance needed from the back carport wall. I had to add about 10cm to the spacer I park against, which has the rear of the car now just inside the rather short carport.

Thanks for pointing that out, never would have occurred to me.
So adding to the facelift changes in overall length car specification
2022 Hyundai Kona EV

Just roughly measured how far the charging port door sticks out from the face of the car, and the facelifted one protudes 3" more than the original - 11" versus 8" in imperial speak. The extra length of the car does not seem to be at the charging port level, but lower down where the number plate goes. Hadn't noticed that before - :)
