2018 BMW X5 xDrive40e Hybrid Hybrid charging

Hi everyone, I have a 2018 BMW X5 xDrive40e Hybrid (F15) with a 2.0 engine. Unfortunately, the hybrid system in my car is not charging the hybrid battery, and the 12V battery isn't working either, likely due to the hybrid system failure. I took the car to BMW for diagnostics, but the repair cost was too high, and I couldn't afford it.

The diagnostic report showed that the main issue is with the inverter, which is not functioning properly, and the cell module in the hybrid battery is also faulty.

I would really appreciate any help or advice from anyone who has experience with these issues. Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist!

On eBay there's a used 2018 BMW X5 xDrive40e Hybrid xDrive40e for $18,895 or best offer. Was the estimate you received less than the cost of this used example?

Also on eBay, the two parts you need are listed for around $5,500, pre-owned (therefore, of questionable longevity). That does not include $350 shipping for the battery or the cost of installation. There are 38 people watching the battery, waiting to pounce if the price is reduced again, so there must be many BMWs out there needing this type of battery.

To get that listing, I went to eBay and searched for "battery x5 xdrive40e" and then chose to list the most expensive results first.

I just did that again and the seller has removed his sale price. It's back to $2,495. Curiously, this time, I went to the actual auction (instead of just copying the search results); the description in the actual auction doesn't say "(For: X5 XDrive40e)" like his listing in the results does (it still has 38 watchers, however). Perhaps the BMW 530E, 330E, 740E, G30, and X5 xDrive40e all use the same battery he's pictured?

Also you can see from today's search, it's still not the most expensive battery on eBay.
