200-mile Battery Packs for the BMW i3

i3 owners (you, @bwilson4web) will be interested in this Autopian article about upgraded i3 batteries from China. @SameGuy posted the link in the MINI Cooper SE forum and postulated we may someday see the same option for our i3-derivative MINI Electrics.
 
Now there's another Chinese battery pack to stretch the i3's range, but no word on how it affects the car's weight (I doubt it's making the i3 lighter).

How hard would it be for these MTG guys to stretch the range of the i3's offspring, the MINI Cooper SE?
 
There are enhanced capacity batteries available for the BMW i3 on the market, which can provide a range of up to 200 miles, but these are typically found in upgraded versions of the car, rather than in standard models.
