Well I have some Good News. I just got off the phone with Hyundai Mapnsoft. It turns out that they Do have a New Web Site and They Are Putting out a New Software Update by the End of April (unless it is delayed again - but they assured me the end of April is their Target Date). They also said the new update does include Widgets as well as Icons. If you want to call them the phone number is 888-757-0010 which I posted previously. They are in Florida and they answer the phone M-F 6 am to 5 pm Pacific Time. Their NEW WEB SITE is at https://update.hyundai.com/US/EN/Main This is where you can check to see if your car is on the upgrade list and you can preview the new changes plus get download instructions for PC's and Mac's. If you have trouble downloading they are more than willing to help, but you have to wait until the updates are posted. To preview the new changes open the new website and click on Notifications on the left side of the page. Then click on the TITLE April 2021 Navigation Map and Software Update. Do not click on the Blue Notification Icon. Click on the Words

Once you have done this the New Features and Download Page opens. Start Exploring!

Ed, I think it will be way longer than A Few Months. Here is part of the latest Email I received from Hyundai. I will Highlight in Bold the Important Parts.

"We appreciate your patience. Hyundai is currently making preparations to implement the recall remedy. You will receive a second notification letter when the remedy is available, and the Battery System Assembly will be inspected, and replaced - if necessary. If the Malfunction Indicator Light is illuminated in your vehicle, you should seek service at your Hyundai dealer as soon as possible. Customers should park and charge outside and away from structures until they can reduce their vehicle's 'Max. % Charge' level to 80% as described below."

Making Preparations does Not sound like a few months to me. Neither does When the Remedy is Available. Did you read my Post about waiting 5 Months for Hyundai to fix my Infotainment System Software? I'm still waiting.

I expressed this on another note "IF necessary"

Hyundai has a Website where you put in your VIN Number. Once you do that it tells you if your battery Needs to be Replaced. Mine said Yes!

I took the Kona in last Wednesday for the recalls and purposefully set the charge seeing to 80% using the Nav system. When I picked it up and before leaving the dealer, I checked out and couldn't believe it, It was set to 100%!

I have asked to speak to the manager but haven't gotten a response yet.

The good news is I received an email today with a link to access the $200 visa card. I had the option of downloading the card or getting a physical card sent to me, I downloaded it then went to Amazon and spent some of it already.
